Linkedin and business: surprisingly successful partners

by admin on July 24, 2012

Partnership can be defined as the coming together of two or more entities for equally beneficial requirements. In most partnerships both partners will look to the other to get their needs and also in the same time will provide the other partner with their needs.

Linkedin and business can be said to have partnership as they are beneficial to one another.  Linkedin is a social networking site and it therefore requires the public to login and make use of its services. Without the public using it, the site is practically just another failed website that is irrelevant. Linkedin was made with the aim to connect people who are business market / minded oriented and that’s where business comes in.

Business on the other hand involves industrial / commercial and professional transaction. For a business to grow it needs a good part of skilled labor (professionals), an advertising platform and a market base. Being able to take its products and services far beyond its locality is most business objectives. Also being able to know what the consumers want, what other competitors are offering and where to acquire the best labour is essential for business growth.

It is for these needs that linkedin and businesses find partnership in each other. This is because linkedin offers business a platform on which it can market its goods and services, reach out to the far corners of the globe, interact with professionals and get to hire their services and even interact with consumers. With this needs fulfilled it means that many will like to associate themselves with linkedin and be able to connect and in that way both linkedin and businesses are in business so to speak.
